How to Create your password

There are two ways you can create a password for an Author account at The Conversation. This depends on how your account is created.

If you made your own account through the website by clicking “Become an author”, you will have already created a password. If you’ve forgotten your password, please follow the steps of ‘How to Reset your password’.

If an editor at The Conversation made an account for you, you will have received an email which looks like this at the time your account was created:

  1. Please click ‘Create a password’ to set your accounts password.

Note: If you try this beyond 24 hours from receiving the email, it will take you to the ‘Forgot your password?’ page. You will need to follow the instructions here to reset your password regardless of whether you have set a password or not yet.
